# Cape Mesa

Client: Cape Mesa · Industry: Luxury villa rentals · Category: Platform · Location: Cape Town · South Africa · Year: 2026 · Live site: https://capemesa.com/

Direct villa bookings with on-site payment and automated invoicing, with Guesty at the core.

## Challenge

Cape Mesa needed international guests to book and pay on its own site, in rand, without being redirected to a third-party checkout — while the finance team needed every booking to arrive as a numbered invoice, reconciled automatically, with the property-management system as the single source of truth.

## Approach

A React and Supabase platform integrated with Guesty for availability and reservations, Stitch for on-page card payment, and an invoice pipeline that issues sequential invoices and reconciles payments without manual work. Guest enquiries, payment links and check-out invoices all run through the same system, so nothing is re-keyed between the website, the PMS and the books.

## Result

Live since October 2026: direct bookings and payments flow straight into Guesty and the ledger, with payment links for PMS-originated bookings and check-out invoices with extras following within weeks of launch.

## Journey

### The guest's journey

From the collection to a confirmed stay, on capemesa.com, in rand — nothing hands off to a third-party checkout.

1. Discover. The collection opens on the brand's own photography, with one task: plan your stay.
2. Choose. Each home with sleeps, bedrooms and bathrooms at a glance.
3. Availability. Live dates from Guesty; nights that are taken are greyed out, nothing is double-booked.
4. Quote. Nightly rate, breakage deposit and the total, itemised before anyone commits.
5. Reserve. Details, ID, review and request in four steps; the invoice details are collected once, up front.
